So we finally got a Christmas tree and decorated it tonight! I think it turned out wonderfully!!! Now there is a little story behind our tree this year! Last year after Christmas my mom and I went shopping and I found a 6 ft fake tree which I purchased! I figured that the years that we were going out of town for Christmas we could set up the fake tree and the years we stayed here we could get a real tree! Well the week after Thanksgiving I pulled out the fake tree and tried to fluff it! It still looked TERRIBLE!!! It gained the nick name of the "Charlie Brown Tree" it was a sad looking tree! So Sam said we needed to get a real one!!! I tried to talk him out of it because we are going to the cabin for Christmas and then to Mexico for New Years again this year! But I lost the fight and we now have a beautiful real tree!!! I personally don't think the pictures do the tree justice but I am bias!!! Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment!
Baxter did so well! He didn't try to eat the ornaments off the tree at all!!!!

That looks so good! We had a real tree every year while I was growing up and I miss the smell, it was so good.
Tree is beautiful.I love real trees! I love the pic with Bax, he's so cute. Did Sam tell you we'd be happy to babysit your house and dog while you go have fun in Mexico? Just let me know details as it gets closer.
